About the Role

This is a customer-facing sales role focused on connection, conversation, and trust. You are the first point of contact in our store and the person who sets the tone for the entire Olive Yu experience.

You will spend your day talking with customers from all over the world and guiding them toward pieces that feel personal and meaningful. You will also help host jewellery-making workshops.

This includes welcoming guests, explaining the process clearly, supporting participants during the session, and ensuring everyone feels relaxed and confident throughout the experience

What you’ll do

• Greet and engage customers with confidence and ease
  
• Tell the story behind our jewellery, materials, and process
  
• Guide customers through pieces and help them choose what feels right
  
• Handle sales, payments, and basic admin
  
• Keep the store looking beautiful and organized
  
• Support workshops and in-store experiences when needed
  

Must-haves

• High-level English. Spoken and written
  
• Naturally friendly, confident communicator
  
• Strong people skills and emotional awareness
  
• Punctual, organised, and well presented
  
• Comfortable speaking with international customers
  

Experience

• Retail or customer-facing experience is a plus
  
• Fashion, jewellery, design, or hospitality experience welcomed
  

Nice but not essential

• Jewellery or luxury retail background
  
• Gemstone knowledge
  
• Visual merchandising skills
  
• Shopify or POS experience
