Fingerprint Ring or Pendant Workshop – Ahangama, Sri Lanka

In this 2-hour jewellery making class in Ahangama, you’ll design a ring or pendant pressed with your own fingerprint. Using 8g of sterling silver, you’ll hand-carve your design in wax — a soft material used by jewellers for centuries.

After the class, our team completes the specialised lost wax casting process. Your wax model is carefully encased, melted away, and replaced with molten silver. By the next day, you’ll hold an exact sterling silver replica of the piece you shaped with your own hands.

This casting method requires professional skill, high heat, and overnight work in our studio. Although the workshop itself is shorter than our other classes, the complex process that happens after you leave makes this experience equally valuable. You not only make a design — you watch it come to life as a professional piece of jewellery.

While you create, enjoy morning tea with biscuits, fruits, coffee, tea, and local snacks in our intimate jewellery studio by the ocean.

• A 50% deposit is required within 12 hours to confirm. If payment isn’t received, your booking will be automatically cancelled.

High Season (December–April): Bookings fill up fast, and deposits are strictly enforced.
